Figment Arts was established in 2007 as a Community Interest Company.  It was founded by David Parker and Abigail Horn.  It is a not-for-profit company working with those who face the greatest barrier to accessing the arts.

Who we are

Figment Arts Director, David Parker draws on a broad range of experience from over 15 years of working in the arts as a practitioner, producer, fundraiser and as a senior leader within a national arts organisation.  Whether you are an individual artist with a brilliant idea, or an organisation looking develop new strategies, we can help. Chris Kerridge – Volunteer Director


‘Washed-up photojournalist, drummer and father of two children ,who think they are grown up enough to point out to their father: his  best days  are behind him. Currently responsible for a dedicated team providing services to learning disabled  16 – 25 year olds. Interests : mountains & the great outdoors and an increasing enjoyment of room emptying music.’


Kitty Wallace – Vounteer Director, Freelance Artist

Kitty has over twelve years of experience as a filmmaker, artist, workshop facilitator, teacher and is a mama of two children. 

Kitty loves working with the wonderful diverse communities of Brighton, she enjoys working with people to facilitate exploration of creativity and bring a voice to their story through film and art. Kitty believes art should be accessible to all!
